On July 10, a working meeting was held at the Sheraton Grand Tbilisi Metekhi Palace between the Georgian gambling association and the Gambling business regulators.  The meeting was also attended by member companies of the ministry of finance of Georgia, the revenue service, the financial monitoring service of Georgia, the state services development agency, the office of the ombudsman of Georgia and the Georgian gambling association.

At the meeting, which was held at the initiative of the Georgian Gambling Association, they talked about the law “on facilitating the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing” and the measures to support its administration.

It was noted that special attention should be paid to the method of identification-verification. The importance of the issue, the position of the companies employed in the field was employed in the field was emphasized and the readiness was expressed to continue the meeting in the working mode in the future.
