On November 11, in Tbilisi, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Georgian Gambling Association and the Gaming Council Ukraine. The bilateral document was signed by Giorgi Mamulaishvili, head of administration of Georgian Gambling Association, and Artem Kuzmenko, Partner at ETERNA LAW, Head of the Gambling Committee of the Ukrainian Advocates Association.
Together with Artem Kuzmenko, Executive Director of GC-UA - Julia Makarova and member of the Expert Advisory Council of the Gambling and Lottery Regulation Commission of Ukraine Andrey Astapov visited Tbilisi to deepen cooperation and establish closer ties between the two associations. The Ukrainian delegation will hold working meetings with the member companies of the Association in Georgia for three days. They will discuss prospects and future plans for cooperation.
Negotiations on the memorandum have started between Giorgi Mamulaishvili, Head of the administration of Association, and Julia Makarova, Executive Director of the Gaming Council Ukraine at one of the most important conferences-exhibitions in the gaming industry in Ukraine, Kyiv - The SBC Summit CIS conference and exhibition.
The subject of the Memorandum of Cooperation is the partnership of the parties, the strengthening of bilateral work, and the promotion of common interests and goals, namely:
• Communication and cooperation with GC-UA and GGA operators;
• Develop and prepare measures to support the principles and missions of the Parties;
• Cooperation in the implementation of state policy in the field of law enforcement;
• Support for the organization of educational activities, including responsible gaming rules;
• Exchange recommendations for gambling market operators;
• Assistance in creating favorable conditions for the functioning of the gambling business market at the international level;
• Exchange of experience between the parties.
According to Giorgi Mamulaishvili, Head of the Georgian Gambling Business Association, the memorandum will strengthen cooperation between the two countries, as well as exchange work visits between the two associations will become more regular and close cooperation in both countries will create a healthier business environment and help both sides to play responsibly.
