On July 10, a working meeting was held at the Sheraton Grand Tbilisi Metekhi Palace between Georgian Gambling Association and the gambling business regulators. The meeting was attended by the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, the Revenue Service, the Financial Monitoring Service of Georgia, the Public Service Development Agency, the Office of the Ombudsman of Georgia and the member companies of Georgian Gambling Association.

The meeting, which was initiated by Georgian Gambling Association, focused on measures to support the administration of the Law on Facilitating the Prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing. It was noted that special attention should be paid to the identification-verification method. The importance of the issue was emphasized, the position of the companies employed in the field and the readiness to continue the meetings in the working regime in the future.
