On June 29-30, the Association of Gaming Business of Georgia took part in the International Conference organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth of Georgia. At the conference, Giorgi Mamulaishvili, head of the gaming business association, spoke and reviewed the following topics:
 
➢ Betting and sports betting turnover in Georgia.
 
➢ What kind of sports bets are available in Georgia? History of sports betting in Georgia.
 
➢ Sports betting fraud and money laundering threats
 
 
➢ How should or are gambling companies helping law enforcement to eliminate this?
 
➢ How and from whom can law enforcement officers get data on bets in Georgia?
 
Both the Gaming Business Association and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth of Georgia, together with other agencies, actively work in the direction of eliminating manipulations in the field of sports and implement various measures with the support of the Council of Europe and the European Union.
The two-day awareness-raising conference held in Tbilisi served this purpose. The mentioned event gave an opportunity to the interested parties to raise their qualifications. to share experiences and plan future policies and activities more effectively.
