Statistics of employees in the gaming business sector of Georgia according to the data of 2024

The year 2024 is quite an active period for the gaming business of Georgia, which continues to significantly contribute to the growth of the country's economy.

The number of employees in the gaming business is steadily increasing. In the first 8 months, statistical data show that the sector is developing and the number of employees is systematically increasing, which indicates the sustainability and development trend of the industry.

In January 2024, the gaming business sector employed 10,968 people. In February, this number increased significantly to 12,050, which means more than 1,000 people were employed during the month. In March, the number of employees was 12,025, the overall growth rate has been maintained.

A significant increase was observed in April, when the number of employees in the sector reached 12,649 people. In May, this number increased further to 12,810, and in June the number of employees in the sector increased to 12,905.

• January: 10,968 employees

• March: 12,025 employees
• April: 12,649 employees
• May: 12,810 employees
• June: 12,905 employees
• July: 13,093 employees
• August: 12, 967 employees

The growth trend continued in the summer months, although a slight decrease was observed in August. The number of people employed rose to 13,093 in July, but fell to 12,967 in August.

The increase in the number of employees in the gaming business sector in the first eight months of 2024 clearly indicates the potential and economic importance of the sector. These data indicate the growing demand of the industry and its opportunities, which include new investments and expansion. Particularly interesting is the fact that the growth of employment is quite uniform and indicates that the sector is not only developing rapidly, but also growing steadily and sustainably.

This growing trend of the gaming business sector emphasizes its importance for the economy of Georgia, and it is likely that similar trends will continue. Such trends contribute to the diversification of the Georgian labor market and the employment of the country's population.
